Care in our Residential Homes

It is the discreet yet genuine care in our Residential Homes provided by our dedicated staff which has enabled our Residential Care Homes to thrive for over 60 years. You will enjoy a warm, secure and friendly environment where your privacy, dignity and independence are respected.

Each Residential Care Home is run by a qualified and experienced Matron with plenty of staff to attend to your needs 24 hours a day. You are free to come and go as you wish with relatives and friends, provided Matron is made aware. As far as possible nobody ever goes to a medical, dental or eye appointment alone.

Rooms

Every room has ensuite facilities and is tastefully decorated and furnished. You will of course be able to add your own personal touches to make your room feel homely. There is a discreet emergency call system if help is needed. TV and telephone points are installed.

Dining

Fresh local produce is used to create a wonderful variety of home cooked meals. These are served either in the cosy dining rooms or in your own room. Friends and relatives are welcome to dine with you for a small charge. All dietary needs are catered for as are your suggestions and requests.

Activities and Social Events

Each of our Residential Care Homes has its own programme of many and varied entertainments, outings and activities. There are regular visits by the WRVS shop, chiropodist, optician and hairdresser. Local GPs and the District Nurse are also on hand if required.

Fees

Our fees for care in our residential homes are inclusive of 24 hour care, 365 days per year and include:
